His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of Makkah Region, received Dr. Sari bin Ibrahim Asiri, Executive Director of the Western Region Branch of the Public Health Authority (Weqaya), accompanied by a number of branch staff members, at the Emirate’s headquarters in Jeddah.
His Royal Highness was briefed on the Authority’s objectives, as well as the initiatives and programs it implements in the areas of promoting public health and preventing communicable and non-communicable diseases. The briefing also covered health awareness programs aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Health Sector Transformation Program, which aims to enhance quality of life and improve the efficiency of healthcare services.
