The committee is responsible for direct supervision and coordination among all government entities, overseeing the implementation of operational plans, and monitoring the quality of services provided to the Guests of Allah. It is chaired by His Royal Highness the Emir of the Region, with His Royal Highness the Deputy Emir serving as Vice Chairman, and includes nine member entities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure that no challenges hinder the implementation of the plans approved by the Supreme Hajj Committee prior to the Hajj season.
Monitor the daily execution of the approved plans during the Hajj season.
Address any field challenges during the Hajj season promptly, including those escalated by the Hajj Operations Center.
• Appoint a Secretary for the Standing Committee from the Emirate of Makkah Region the Secretariat shall be formed from all entities represented in the committee.
• Following the conclusion of the season, review the outcomes of the previous Hajj season, assess challenges, and submit recommendations to the Supreme Hajj Committee.
