The project covers an area of 5.7 million square meters in the heart of Jeddah. It aims to create a world-class destination, leveraging Jeddah’s strategic location on the Red Sea and its proximity to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, which attract pilgrims and visitors.
The implementation of this landmark project will be carried out in three main phases. The first phase is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027, at which point the project will begin welcoming Jeddah’s residents and visitors from within the Kingdom and abroad.
The Central Jeddah Project features a waterfront with a 9.5 km-long water promenade and includes a world-class marina designed to accommodate yachts from within the Kingdom and abroad. In addition, it offers an exceptional 2.1 km-long sandy beach along the Red Sea coast.
The project also features four exceptional landmarks: an Opera House, a Museum, a Sports Stadium, and Oceanic Pools with Coral Farms.
The project contributes to the development of more than ten specialized initiatives across key and promising sectors, adhering to international standards. These span tourism, sports, cultural, and entertainment sectors, in addition to modern residential areas providing 17,000 housing units, 2,700 hotel rooms, and administrative districts offering diversified solutions for business sectors.
