Curriculum Vitae of the Deputy Emir of Makkah Province His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been serving as the Deputy Governor of Makkah Province since 28 Jumada Al-Akhirah 1445 AH, corresponding to 12 December 2023, to the present day.

Education and Professional Experience

He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from King Saud University in Riyadh, and earned a Master’s degree with First Class Honors in Business Administration from the University of Business and Technology (UBT) in Jeddah. He previously served at the Riyadh Region Governorate during the tenure of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – as Governor of Riyadh Region. By Royal Decree, he was appointed Deputy Governor of Makkah Province on 12 December 2023.

  • Member of the Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites.
  • Member of the Board of Directors of the Jeddah Governorate Development Authority .
  • Vice Chairman of the Board of the Makkah Province Development Authority.
  • Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Central Hajj Committee .
  • Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Redevelopment of Informal Settlements in Jeddah .
  • Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Neighborhood Centers Association in the Makkah Province.
  • Honorary Chairman of the University of Jeddah Endowment .
